Clear evidence of the existence of structural discrimination comes from Sweden, where a governmental inquiry found structural discrimination in the areas of labour market, housing, politics, the legal system, education and the welfare system. The result of this inquiry is all the more noteworthy because not long after the inquiry Sweden fared best in a comprehensive survey that looked at the performance of 28 countries,
