Video of Swedish Queen's visit
An example of a One-Stop Shop dedicated to the immigrant population in Portugal, the National Immigrant Support Centre (CNAI) in Lisbon, run by the High Commission for Immigration and Intercultural Dialogue (ACIDI, I.P.), has been the focus of the attention of various States, due to the way in which it combines principles recommended at a European level in relation to integration policies. The Queen of Sweden, accompanied by the Swedish Minister for Integration and by the Secretary of State for Migration was of particular significance, as Sweden and Portugal occupied the first and second place, respectively, in the independent study “Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX)”, 2006, which compared immigrant integration policies in 28 countries.
