Racism and related discriminatory practices in employment in Lithuania

According to the Migrant Integration Policy Index presented in 2011, “Victims enjoy such wide protection in fewer areas of life than 24 of the 30 other MIPEX countries. They are explicitly protected in education and employment, but not social protection, social advantages and access to goods and services (including health, housing). There is no case law available to prove otherwise”. The European network of legal experts in the non-discrimination field noted that the law protects persons from discrimination on different grounds in the fields of employment, access to goods and services, and education.
