Polskie Radio: Poland changes into country of immigrants


Poland should change its migration policy as it is no longer only a country of emigrants but also immigrants - this is one of the conclusions of a non-governmental report comparing political participation of third country nationals the situation of migrants in Poland, Estonia and Latvia.




According to the latest edition of the MIPEX or Migrant Integration Policy Index when taking into account the political and public rights of imigrants Poland is placed next to last among the 31 countries that were researched.
The group included both EU member states and the US, Canada, Switzerland and Norway. The situtation of immigrants is worse only in comparison with Romania.Listen to the programme in English
