Malta Integration Network (MIN) - Long Term Residence & Access to Nationality Multifunctional Team Meeting

The Malta Integration Network aims to establish a Multifunctional Team of integration stakeholders so as to identify and propose those policy and intervention measures necessary to ensure the effective integration of third country nationals in Maltese society.
The Multifunctional Team will be composed of representatives from the Malta government, academia, civil society and the migrant community with the possibility of rotation of members according to thematic interests.
Spanning over one year, the project will be aimed at producing concrete, sustainable and inclusive recommendations on how to maximise the success of the various stages of a migrant’s integration process.
On the basis of strategic inter-agency dialogue, the project will engage in an active discussion with experienced stakeholders in other European Union Member States so as to transpose those experiences from which Maltese policy and practice could benefit.
The ‘Malta Integration Network’ is basing its research methodology on the MIPEX approach, since we feel it is conducive to an objective analysis of integration policies with useful potential for mapping progress across a range of relevant sectors.
