To help inform integration policies, research tools are needed. Currently, there is a dearth of quantitative instruments that can be used for cross-country comparisons to understand policy effectiveness and develop best practices. The Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX), a partnership between the British Council and the Migration Policy Group, provides a tool to assess integration policy in 31 European and North American countries.
