The European Second Generation Compared: Does the Integration Context Matter?

Anti-discrimination legislation [measured by MIPEX] does not appear to have an impact on second-generation unemployment risks. To explain why the second generation does not seem to profit from such legislation, we may consider the methodological weakness of the MIPEX index since it only measures legislative actions and not their actual implementation.
