European Parliament MIPEX Breakfast debate

The British Council and Migration Policy Group are holding a Breakfast Debate on the Migrant Integration Policy Index at the European Parliament on 24 May
The Debate will be based on the findings of the Migrant Integration Policy Index (MIPEX) III to be presented by Thomas Huddleston, Policy Analyst at the Migration Policy Group, Central Research Coordinator and co-author of the MIPEX.

How can the EU better promote labour market integration?

EU's added value on the right to work for third country national migrant workers and families
Targeting the needs of migrant workers: Europe's weakness on labour market mobility.

The findings of the MIPEX study will be shared to provide an opportunity to see and discuss:

How well each country is doing in granting equal rigths, responsibilities, and opportunities to all residents
Whether Europe is converging or diverging from this vision of integration
What trends are reshaping countries of immigration
How European standards have improved national policies

About MIPEX
The third edition of the MIPEX covers 31 countries including all 27 EU Member States, Canada, the United States, Norway and Switzerland to give a global and comprehensive view of integration policy.
All the results are available to view and use at www.mipex.eu.
