EU Single Permit makes workplace ‘slightly favourable’ for integration

If MEPs formally approve the Single Residence and Work Permit Directive in September, the EU Member States will finally offer most non-EU workers a work environment that is at least ‘slightly favourable’ for their integration in society. This finding comes from a MIPEX impact assessment, presented at a  24 May EP Breakfast Meeting co-hosted  by MEPs Jean Lambert and Claude Moraes. Legally-resident newcomers at all corners of the EU will have a better chance to enjoy their basic workers’ rights and access to general support.Read more on the MIPEX Blog
